These cars are 34’ long and were built in 1918, and rebuilt in 1924 with bolsters and draft sills from standard gauge cars, and the sides were reinforced with angle iron along the sides.

The 6500 series flat cars are the Narrow Gauge version of the steel sided fishbelly flat cars built 1939.
